The last price you paid for a product is updated each time you receive it so you always have an accurate starting point to start negotiating with vendors. Everest’s purchasing software also gives you the ability to save the Purchase Order and attach it as a PDF to an e-mail that can be sent to your vendor with just a few clicks.
Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)
Transaction costs, which include the time required to submit a PO to a specific vendor, shipping costs and labor required to receive and put away a product can have a significant impact on your bottom line.  Everest allows you to configure the optimal quantity to buy and assign it as the EOQ for each of your products. Purchase Orders quantities will default the quantity to EOQ or an increment thereof to help you minimize these transaction costs and increase profits.

Drop Ship Management
Everest has features that help you take advantage of drop ship relationships with your vendors. Everest’s purchasing software can automatically prompt you to generate a purchase order at the same time sales are entered. Product and quantity details are copied directly to the purchase order to save time and ensure the right product gets delivered. Drop ship purchases orders can also be generated in a batch at the end of the day. When you later enter the vendor invoice, Everest will automatically assign the inventory to the related sales order and convert it to an invoice for you. 1. Items can be configured to automatically be marked as drop ship when they are added to a sales order. Users can also manually set items as dropship when large orders are taken or other special cases. 2. The Shipping address used on the sales order will be assigned to the purchase order when it is created. 3. The delivery method requested by the customer will also be assigned to the purchase order when it is created. 4. Click the “Generate Drop Ship PO” button to get a preview of the purchase order that is about to be created. With a single click, click “Generate PO” to create the transaction.
Multiple Units of Measure
Everest’s purchasing software allows you to configure multiple purchase measures for each of your products.
