Quickly email documents in PDF format
» Send quotes to customers in just two clicks. Everest ® will open an email in Outlook or Outlook Express with your document already attached as a PDF.
» The To and CC field of your email will default based on the billing and contact address of the document you are sending.
   
Document views to allow single click access to document details
» Access document details faster by using the new tabs at the bottom of the document profile.
   
Stock status indicator from inventory tracking system
» Line items have an indicator to let you quickly identify if an item is in stock. RED means out of stock. YELLOW means In Stock, but not available. GREEN means In Stock and Available.
   
Ability to add freight charges that are calculated by external programs
» Freight programs such as StarShip can write back actual freight amounts. When a sales document is opened, a line item for freight charges can be automatically added, or the user can first be prompted based on a preference.

Email Features
New interface for sending email between Everest users
» Use the new Everest Email interface for sending email to users inside Everest. This replaces the old utility>email functionality. Everest Email is required to send a message to an Internet email account.
   
Payment Processing
Improved batch payment processing allows you to process or approve payments in groups instead of individually
» Any payment processed through a document can be marked for "batch payment processing"
» Instead of the accounting entries being made immediately, the payment can be first reviewed and then processed.
» Batch payment processing is located under the accounting menu and is available for both sales and purchasing documents (replaces old "batch credit card processing" option under the utility menu)
» Can be used to save sales staff time by sending credit card transactions to be approved in batches, instead of waiting for them to be approved individually on each document.
