Mark Fernandes

Mark Fernandes is a Venture Partner at Sierra Ventures. His investment focus is on infrastructure software including security, storage and systems management. He also serves on the Board of Directors at Sourcefire and FrontBridge.
Mark joined Sierra in 2002 from Merrill Lynch, where he was a Director in the Software Research Group. Prior to that, Mark was a product manager at Seagate Technology and at Cisco Systems. He was also part of the founding team of PanoCorp Systems, a flat panel display company.
Mark holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Mangalore University (India), a MS degree from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Bijal Mehta

Bijal is an entrepreneurial executive with 15 years of experience in the computer hardware, software, and India offshore outsourcing industry. Bijal is the founder of Arctern, an outsourcing and services company serving the needs of businesses globally. Prior to Arctern, Bijal was the co-founder, President and CEO of iCode, Inc. now Everest Software, Inc. Prior to this, Bijal co-founded Accel Inc., a DC-based "white box" computer retailer that grew revenues to $35 million in three years. In 1994, Accel was sold to Mantech International.
Bijal earned two Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Timothy Meyers

Tim is a General Partner with Updata Partners. Tim joined Updata Partners in 2000 from The Morino Group (TMG), where, as President, he managed a portfolio of more than $200 million in public and private investments. Previously, he was CFO of the Brandon Company, a real estate investment firm, and a CPA with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells involved in structuring and evaluating LBO and M&A transactions. Tim has served on the Board of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association and has been a Program Chairman of its investment fair the last three years.
Sanjay Shah

Sanjay has more than 17 years of management and product development experience. Prior to Skelta, Sanjay was Managing Director and Head of R&D of iCode Software Private Limited, now Everest Software, Inc. and co-founder of iCode, Inc. Prior to iCode, Inc., Sanjay was a founding partner of Accel, Inc., a $35 million "white box" PC retailer. Before joining Accel, he held positions with Mentor Graphics, Tektronix and the Virginia Tech Library Systems (VTLS).
Sanjay did his engineering from IIT, Bombay and later followed it up with a Masters in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
Subba Rao Telidevara
Partner, Actis
Subba is a Partner of Actis and is responsible for managing Actis’s Bangalore team in India. Subba joined CDC Capital Partners in 1996, prior to the creation of Actis in 2004, as an investment professional in Bangalore. He has led on advising on a significant number of successful investments. Prior to joining Actis, Subba spent over seven years as a private equity investor and also has operational experience with ITW India Ltd and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.
Subba has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Engineering and an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
